AirAquality airwashers are unique products specifically designed with health and comfort in mind. Air cleaning, humidification and evaporative cooling take place simultaneously. Air heating by PTC resistance (Positive Temperature Coefficient – ceramics technology for safety and efficiency) is an available optional function.

With no wet pads or any other kind of porous material that may grow harmful mold in pores, AirAquality products are very easy to clean, and a much higher level of air quality is available for our customers even with long term use. This is not the case for the competing products that rely on porous materials or pads to increase surface area.

For this reasons, our products are well suited for persons with respiratory health problems. Our product was developed with input from medical doctors, and extensive measurements of biological and particulate contaminant removal from the air were performed in the laboratory. Additional tests were performed in the homes of individuals with respiratory health problems during a 3 month period.

The results showed synergy in cleaning and humidifying the air providing better ambient conditions, providing a refreshing feeling often experience by being in close proximity to a waterfall.

At the moment AirAquality is optimizing the airwashers in the final phase of product development, and we expect to be ready to enter the market in 2007.

Our airwashers provide comfort and reduce presence of dust, smoke, odors, fungi, bacteria and other particles in the air. This results in the pleasant sensation of breathing clean air. Simultaneously evaporative cooling occurs, and the extent of cooling is directly related to humidity of the incoming air. Typically about a 15ºF reduction is attained with our devices in dry weather conditions. Evaporative cooling devices are typically more suited for dryer outdoor climates or indoor environments. In the latter case, when central heating systems deliver very dry heated air, our products humidify the indoor environment while at the same time collecting impurities and particles from the air. Additional optional features that can enhance the function of the AirAquality device are: heating by PTC in order to adjust the desired temperature of the air, ion generation to increase collection efficiency of smaller particles, and use of UV irradiation or chemical additives to eliminate and kill spores, fungi, bacteria, or viruses in the water reservoir.
